Day Courses
Day courses are an excellent opportunity to deepen our familiarity of a particular aspect of Buddhist teachings.
Courses usually involve two formal teachings to help us gain practical understanding how we can transform our daily life into a spiritual path. There is a midday break during which a delicious vegetarian lunch is served.

Meditation Workshops - Halfday Courses

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind peaceful and calm. If our mind is peaceful we shall be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we shall experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful we shall find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the best conditions.
If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we shall experience purer and purer forms of happiness. Eventually we shall be able to stay happy all the time.

In each workshop we will spend half a day becoming familiar with a meditation ideal for daily practice. The days are designed to be a practical introduction, and no experience of meditation is necessary.
