Now that we have moved into our new building, have residential rooms and opened our World Peace Cafe we need to take Vajrapani Centre into the next phase of it's development. We still have many tasks to do such as refurbishing both of our kitchens, providing hot water into our bathroom and even making a new sign for outside our Centre.

Moving Vajrapani Centre forward is now one of our main focuses, and the motivation behind the fundraising campaign Keep On Moving. Over 2008 a number of activities will be taking place at Vajrapani Centre, and individuals are challenging themselve to gain sponsershop to help raise funds. The list of activities is increasing as more people become aware of the campaign, and we will update this page reguarly with news. Keep on Moving - Updated 14 March 2008

Sponsered Walk - We will be holding a Sponsered Walk on 26 April. We hope to involve as many people as possible and the walk will finish at the Centre with food. All members of the communit are welcome to attend, and we can provide sponsership forms for those who need them. The event is £20 or free to anyone collecting sponsers.

Update - Well done to everyone who took part in the sponsored walk. We have raised over £400 pounds and it has contributed to the new fridge for the cafe.

Donate a Lightbulb - We are going to replace all the lightbulbs in our Meditation Room with energy efficient bulbs to help reduce our electricity expenditure. Our target is 100 lightbulbs! James McDonald - is going to be competing in a Triathalon on 5th July and raising sponsership.

Carol Falkous - is taking part in the Great Women's Run (10k) on 16th June and raising sponsership.
