Progress at the centre

Development of our new building is split into three phases.

Phase one is the on going development of the residential area located in in the lower floor of the building. Transformation of open spaces has been possible by constructing partitions, creating comfortable residential wings and safe, clean shared utilities. This phase also includes the creation of the Peace Garden.

Phase two is the transformation of the old church hall into the final Meditation Room - the heart of Vajrapani Centre. This area will seat up to 300 people and is the biggest meditation hall in the UK within the New Kadampa Tradition.

Phase three is the conversion of the temporary Meditation Room into a World Peace Cafe. Once phase two is complete, the Meditation Room will be moved.
